Rui Kang

Rui Kang received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering in 1987 and 1990 from Beihang University. Now he is chair professor of the Belief Reliability Center at Beihang University, China and chief scientist at the Smart Aviation Center at the Hanghou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. He has established the belief reliability theory, published more than 120 academic papers, authorized more than 100 invention patents, and published 10 academic monographs. He is currently the Chairman of the Reliability Systems Science and Engineering Committee of the China Command and Control Society and the Chairman of the Reliability Systems Engineering Committee of the China MBSE Alliance. For his outstanding achievements in reliability theory research and engineering practice, he has received a number of important international and national awards.
