Since 2015, Henrik Tehler has been serving as a Professor at the Division for Risk Management and Societal Safety at Lund University in Sweden. He received his PhD in Engineering in 2003 and has since been dedicated to establishing a comprehensive research environment in risk management at Lund University, where he served as the director of Lund University Centre for Risk Assessment and Management (LUCRAM) from 2016 to 2019. Apart from an interest in fundamental risk science his research has also been focused on risk assessment and critical infrastructure protection, as well as the connection between disaster management and risk assessment. He has also contributed to the creation of three master’s programs at Lund University, each with a distinct emphasis on risk. Since 2022 he has been a member of the editorial board for Risk Analysis.
