Sandra Alday

Sandra Alday is Program Manager of the Master of Management at the University of Sydney Business School. Extending her experience in strategy and organisation development consulting, her scholarly research explores the nature of risk, how it is perceived and it is managed. She also investigates the impact of risk management behaviour on equity and sustainability.

Because pathways to sustainable futures require different ways of thinking and doing, she further examines how learning experiences can transform the way people and organisations think about risk and sustainability. Sandra is a Past President of the Society for Risk Analysis-Australia and New Zealand, and a Past Councillor of the Society for Risk Analysis. She is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Management Education (JME) and actively involved in research dissemination initiatives of SRA. Committed to excellence and innovation in higher education, Sandra is a recipient of an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) Citation for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
